Culture Trip, the travel e-commerce brand with content at its core, today has announced a new partnership with Hotelbeds, the world’s leading bedbank, to expand its curated e-commerce offering of Places to Stay.
As part of the agreement, Culture Trip will connect to the extensive product portfolio via the API solutions offered by Hotelbeds. With access to 180,000 hotel properties – many of which are contracted under special terms and conditions – in 140 countries this will provide Culture Trip with breadth and depth of range worldwide to hand-pick from for its curated collections of Places to Stay.
Culture Trip was created in 2011 to inspire people to go beyond their cultural boundaries and experience what makes a place, its people and culture, special, unique and meaningful. Fast-forward to today, and Culture Trip has evolved from a travel content publisher into a travel e-commerce brand with content at its core — a single platform that takes customers from inspiration and planning to booking.
This approach enables people to get inspired and turn this inspiration into reality by booking online what they read about from collections of curated Places to Stay (launch in 2019) and Experiences (launch in 2020). Both product categories can be booked via dedicated hubs and also via thousands of bespoke articles showcasing hand-picked hotels and things to do that can be booked online with Culture Trip.
To further expand and differentiate its e-commerce offering, last month the Company launched its own product: TRIPS by Culture Trip — a collection of unique small-group adventures.
